Welcome to Dr. Ashraf Brik’s laboratory in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Ben-Gurion of the Negev. Our research group is developing synthetic methods to chemically synthesize homogenous posttranslationally modified proteins for structural and functional analysis. These methods, in combination with other strategies, will also be used to manipulate protein function and stability in cellular environments.
